Challenge: Redesign an underutilized learning space to connect remote campuses across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Process: I worked on this project both as a graduate student and staff assistant at the Penn State School of Nursing (now College of Nursing). My role was to coordinate with the various stakeholders which included the students, graduate faculty, the Associate Dean for Graduate Education, the Educational Technology Department, Facilities Department and all external vendors. To gauge scope and need, I launched separate surveys to both the students and faculty. I used the results, combined with direct interviews with students, faculty and educational consultants to choose appropriate technology interventions. Although the Associate Dean had final approval for the overall project, she provided me with a wide latitude for selecting and implementing the design strategy.
